School Hours 2016-2017
Our school hours are from 8:20 A.M. to 2:40 P.M. Monday - Friday.
MORNING LINE UP:
Morning lineup takes place in the gymnasium and auditorium beginning at 8:10 A.M. Breakfast is free for all students. Breakfast begins at 7:45 A.M. and is over at 8:10 A.M. Students in K-5 not eating breakfast should not come to school until 8:10 A.M. Doors will open promptly for all other students at 8:10 A.M. Children will not be permitted in the building any earlier. Pre-K students may eat breakfast; however, if they are not eating breakfast they cannot be dropped off until 8:20 A.M. at their designated entrance. If you walk your child to school, he/she can be dropped off in the main lobby. For the safety of all children, please keep the hallways and lobby clear at all times.
If you are driving your child to school in the morning, observe the STOP-DROP and GO rules. Help keep the flow of traffic moving. STOP in front of the school, DROP your child off on the sidewalk, and GO! DO NOT PARK or DOUBLE PARK IN FRONT OF THE SCHOOL BUILDING (on the school block), DO NOT PARK AT THE DESIGNATED BUS STOPS when dropping off or picking up your child. It is not safe or legal. Do not stop your car on 11th Avenue in front of the school. Serious accidents can occur when children are forced to walk between double parked cars in order to enter/exit the school yard or building. Illegal parkers will be ticketed by the police. It is illegal to leave your car riding for more than one minute in a school zone. Violators will be ticketed by the police. For everyone's safety, park away from the school and walk your child(ren).
